Any other indiana guys out there can help me with where to hunt public lands? And any other tips for a old man but beginner at predator hunting.
Thanks Ernest

Do some online searches for public areas around your parts.

Indiana DNR website will probably have that info.

Also looks like you are not too far from the Hoosier National Forest.

They have Coyote hunting contests down there so that might be a good place to have a go at.

Big area there, so I think you would find some ideal places to hunt.

Where at hoosier nat do you mean? I squirrel hunt just back of the Brown county park. Thats a big mature forest where I squirrel hunt. Thanks

Hunt coyotes where ya hunt them squirrels.

You know that area and maybe already have some stand areas in mind there.

There will be coyotes there and coyotes all over the Hoosier forest.

I never been down that way yet but know theres alot of coyotes in there.

Theres alot of coyotes all over this state

Theres coyotes right next door to me that I cant hunt since its part of the national lakeshore.

You can see their tracks and poop right on the beaches.

If you are east of Indy, check out Brookville Lake area. There is a lot of good public hunting out there. Indiana has a healthy population of coyotes, so pretty much anywhere you have permission to hunt has potential to hold coyotes. Like black wolf said, go to dnr site and click on the maps. I print out the maps then go to google earth and study the layout of the property. looking for clearings to set up stands. Google earth can be your best friend when scouting new land. good luck
