Any love for the Mauser?

The only Mauser's I own now are the Kimber type. LOL
We built the stock for this one back in 2011. The customer had a gunsmith barrel this Heym Mauser with a Kreiger barrel in 9.3X62. That round just screams Africa. LOL

Here you go Bill, very nice.

Don't post much but I do have a couple. One's an M48 Yugo that shoots lights out with open sights. I'll probably shoot up all my 8MM and have something built on the action...
AND... my father brought an M98 home from WWII. Made in 1940, swaztikas, matching serial nos., the works. About 1960, he loans it to the preacher that married my parents. He deer hunted with it, shot snapping turtles, etc. It came back with the rifling shot out. (oh well) So, took the action, had a smith put on a Douglas barrel in 270, walnut stock of some kind, Redfield 3X9. I had a Timney trigger put in and a Leupold with mil-dots. I have killed maybe 50 deer with it.

I got mine in a gun trade with my gunsmith friend. I'm not sure why I did it but I did. Now I grown attached to it. Its short and really light weight and very accurate to. I tried to sell it a couple of times at gun shows but Mausers aren't big seller's around here. Always came home feeling good cause I didn't sell it.
