Very sharp looking cover Rick. That's one that'll catch the eye on the shelf. I'll buy it. Also, didn't know you switched to M2D Camo. I like the stuff, but harder than heck to get your hands on a complete set.

Tony

Did you see Tont Tebbe's DVD. A great one as I wish I would have had it years ago instead of learning from my mistakes. Well worth the money for a beginer.

Brent, Yep we will

Levi, Its a closed reed

Thanks Brian

Tony, Thanks, We had the cover how we wanted it, and then decided it looked just like last years. I like M2D also.
Lets swap dvd's

Rick

looking forward to the new DVD Rick. always tell the new guy's to get a vermintar , Randy anderson or kerry carvers dvd for learning to Hand call. Rick

It would be nice if somebody would do a top ten all time instructional DVDs thread for us newbies so we can know the ones we really need to watch.

Hey friends! Operation Predator 8 will be shipping here quick like! 32 kills. Alot of shotgun in your face stuff with lots of hard wood trees. Got a lil bit of red dirt, lil bit of Nebraska cnyon country, lil bit of Pacific Northwest. A bunch of howling, handcalling and some electronic calling.

It should be in stores soon!!!

Rick, I was hoping you guys had a new one coming out!!
Thanks for the info, I look forward to seeing your post in the next week or two!!
And if I don't win anything, I'll gladly fork over the money for a new DVD & call from you!
And I'll happily buy Randy's DVD, as well!

Steve, & everyone else, thanks for the info on the up-coming stuff!!

Oh, and "COYKILL"...Yes sir, I have TT's DVD & think it's outstanding! It was well worth the wait for him to finally get it out!

I watched OP8 and it was awesome. REASONS BEING. they dont make jokes that are lame like the guys in others, they aren't obsessed with themselves like the guys in others, none of that fake "turning the safety off" type fake filming angles and terrible dramatic music like in some others AND they explain things, unlike the others. Job well done Mr. Criner. Looking forward to seeing other new videos out too. Again, thats just my two cents, totally unprofessional and never really appreciated opinion of this roughneck. The double shotgunnin, and rifle action is awesome too. You always are wondering "is he going to get lit up close or picked off far?" so its pretty edge of your seat type stuff.

oh, and thought id mention, watching it in HD, the bobcats (all what seemed like 50 of them) look like they are going to come out of the TV, its unreal, GREAT quality and awesome footage. I like the fact that the camera man doesn't turn the camera around for a not so much "good angle" of the operator to give his opinion that no one cares about every 30 seconds (similar to my posts), its as if the camrea man doesn't exist, which is a great quality in a hunting dvd, again, thats my opinion.

I know that there are probably other good DVD's out there too, but I would reccomend any of Rick Paillet's and Randy Anderson's videos. The thing I like about them is that in addition to being able to learn a lot from them, they also keep it real and add in some light hearted fun. In my opinion remembering that this is supposed to be fun is very important and seems to get forgotten too often.

I hate to rub it in everyones face.....But, I got my Calling all Coyotes 8 in the mail today. I have watched up to around hunt # 20, and it is good as always. Seems Randy is using the Power Dog a little more in this video. He is starting out with hand calls, normally a howl followed by cat nip, than when they spot the dog, they swith to the power dog, to reel them in. Some great shooting in this one and Randy is shooting with a new 6mm bolt action. Its great to fuel me when it is 104* outside. Hope you all get yours soon. Brent

That is my biggest pet peeve when it comees to hunting vids...unrealistic talking, movement, etc. I was watching a hunting show this weekend and the guy was laid back calling on the ground, filming from the side of course. The coyote he's calling stops and the guy sits up about as fast as he can. Then they show the coyote, unphased by the "bush" that practically jumped. He shoots the coyote. The whole time blaring crappy music so you can't hear the calling. The only dvd's I buy now are the tried and true series with few exceptions.

I just watched Steve Criners Operation 8 and wow, he has come of age! Footage is great and Steve has developed a great camera presence. You guys need to watch it. I oredered it from allpredatorcalls.com and it was here in three days. Brent
