Any Oklahoma coyote tournaments soon?

Let's hope not. It screws up things for everyone. Too many guys put one on every few weeks and it does no good whatsoever.
 
Because it makes land harder to get and makes coyotes harder to kill. I'd enter one with you if you need a partner.
 
there will be several around the mcalester area this winter. i dont really care for them either but i do enter them when they have one. cant turn down free money.lol. the way i look at it, if every city slicker is going to be out there blowing a call, i might as well go and take their money and teach them a lesson the hard way.

What's the most money you've won in a contest and where was it held?
 
last year i won all 3 i entered. $1,100, $700, and $600. won the 700 and 600 both will only 4 coyotes. won the 1,100 with 9 yotes, 1 bobcat and 1 grey fox.

i didnt enter 1 that i didnt hear about and 2 yotes won it and took home $650!! that day i killed 4 by 8:30 a.m. and went home set around the house all day.lol
 
I entered 1 and won big coyote. $375. I didn't do well in the other part due to the fact that bobcats that were frozen rock solid beat me out. If you can't tell, it put a bad taste in my mouth.

i hate them for the sheer part of the cheating. you cant really stop it. people try harder cheating than they do just going out and hunting. i guess its just like bass fishing tourneys though. every other one i have been in besides the 3 last year i didnt win crap.

these are all around the mcalester area.
 
Ive hunted some contest that I suspected cheating at , but didnt have evidence , and Ive hunted contest where I flat out got my butt kicked. I try to only enter contest that have some sort of kill block in place and gives a polygraph. These two things helps to weed out some cheating. But with anything that offers a cash prize someone is going to try to cheat. Cat Daddy when is the contest down in your area.
