Only one problem......
If I have to pay all those high monthly charges,I'd have no $ for the rest.

How do you like that combination?
Any favorite loads?

I haven't had a chance to shoot it much. Last year,I think I used H4350 and the 105 AMAX, and Sierra 107HPBT's. It made me smile.

Originally I was going to build another 6 BR, but it is hard to make a repeater out of some of them, The 6XC feeds great, and I just use Win 22-250 brass and fireform.

Is it just as simple as neck up, load and shoot? No shoulder bump or anything?

I'm really trying to decide between the 6xc, 6x47 L and a regular 243.

Almost. You do have to neck up, and depending on the reamer, I have a no turn neck on mine. I did have to push the shoulder back some, and it does mushroom a little but according to Tubb it is OK, I did some both ways as you will see in the link and had no problems.

It was really so easy, a caveman could do it.

Definitely easier than making 17 Javelina brass.

I'm with Coyotejunki.........if I could get a 6 BR or 6BRX to feed reliably, I wouldn't have bothered with the 6x47. Having shot both the 6br and 6brx in varmint silhouette for years, that little cartridge is tough to beat for efficiency, accuracy and barrel life.
Of course, living in Arizona where second shots are pretty rare due to the terrain I hunt a feather weight 6br rifle might be the hot ticket. Hmmmm I think I have a 40x action somewhere that's not being used along with a #3 Kreiger blank.

I built my 6x47 for TAC competitions. All I really wanted to do was duplicate the performance of my BRX or even straight BR. Just didn't want to have to tinker with $75 magazines trying to get then to feed... However, I have a couple BRs on rem actions that feed just fine through bdl BM.

My Neighbor had a custom rifle made, no brass to be had. I took std Rem 22/250 brass and using a Redding long tapered expander necked it up to 6.5. Using bulls eye and cream of wheat, I fire formed the brass in my shop.

First trip to the range, he was shooting the 130g Bergers in 1/2" groups at 200 yards. All my neighbor does is target shoot, he finally got the Lapua brass, and cant tell the difference in groups between the Rem 22/250 brass and the Lapua brass.

This helps me on my next build.

Back in the mid 80's, all imports of components from foreign countries was stopped, this went on for years. As a benchrest shooter, Sako brass was the standard which everyone used. Scarcity of brass made shooting very difficult, which made me think that I would never put myself in a position to where I would get caught like this again if politics ended imported brass from being available.

So, 6x47L and the 6.5x47L is basically a 22/250AI necked up with slight changes. Neck on the 22/250 brass is just slightly shorter than the Lapua factory brass.

If you are hunting with the brass and ejecting it off into the weeds...you now have some options.
