Anybody use the bushnell ERS tactical 3.5-21X50?

I picked one up this week to try out,its a big heavy scope for sure, everything about it seems overbuilt. Seems to have some nice glass and the turrets are huge with nice firm clicks. Only problem is the 34mm tube,i got no rings, for a few days anyway.

I know a few people using the XRS 4.5-30x50 and they are really happy with it. This one looks to be priced about the same. Should be a good scope.

I have one on my 6 mm Creedmoor. For the money it's very good optics. I like the reticle and just wish mine had the newer Zero stop and 10 Mil per rev. But for the price I paid I can live with it.

I have not mounted it yet but spent some time looking through it yesterday beside my leupold 6-20X56 VXL .
I have a rock cliff on the mountain 450 yards away from my house i use to check out optics and the leupold has better resolution from what i can tell so far but that bushnell is really hard not to like .Hopefully i will mount it up this weekend and i can tell tell more about it when im laying on the ground behind my rifle and spend some quality time looking through it.So far it's alot of scope for the money .

So far i do ,it has plenty on lines but still open enough to spot hits and misses and make a correction which is pretty much what i do when i shoot.
I wont be using it to range ,i have a leica for that and im too lazy.

Got my rings today so i took it out for a test run. Didnt have time to get a good 100 yard zero but i was able to get a rough zero on some rocks at 450 and got some hits at 600 .
I figured out why the glass was not as clear as i thought it should be. The turrets on these have three revs 10 MIL each,i had mine cranked all the way in in one direction ,soon as i got it boresighted and in the center of travel its as clear as a bell.

Nice range; looks like a neat spot. I run an HDMR on a prairie dog rig and really like it. I had to buy rings kinda like you did as well. Wish I coulda swung that scope while it was in stock on sale. Do those rings have some kind of liner in them?

I run the xrs, badger rings, they are just tanks of scopes. I love how bright and vibrant it is, up until about 25 or so, loses some of that, but I'm still target shooting on 30, it's just a little dimmer of a picture.

I like it, now vortex has their razor twos really providing the only direct competition before you really step up to march, s&b, tangent theta and the likes.

Actually weaver has their 34mm 6-30x56 that is right in line as well, Bushnell and weaver are both owned by atk now, along with federal, cci, American eagle, savage, Blackhawk...

Anyways, I've got no doubt the razor twos would have the edge in glass, but I'm sticking with my xrs.

Venatic...the newer ERS with 10 mil turrets and 34mm tube are a completely different monster than the previous version. Not even in the same ball park.

I've got the XRS with the H59 on my 7mm Mag...and was contemplating the ERS with H59 to run on my predator/match rifle that Chad Dixon just built me...but I opted to test out the Leupold Mk6 3-18 with H58 instead.

I LOVE my Bushnell XRS no question and when I saw Natches unloading their stock...I was extremely tempted to jump in.
I also contemplated the Razor HD II, but at the time of purchase; the Razor HD II was still 6-10 months from being released and I couldn't wait. I've since had the chance to compare both side by side, and the XRS doesn't quite match the Razor...but I paid 700 less for the XRS too.
I can't say that Razor HD II is worth $700 more. If/When it comes down to $2000...It's probably worth it.
