Anybody with SportDog transmitter repair experience?

Evening.

The momentary switch on the side of my transmitter is cratering. Sticks when toning the ol' Spud dog and the Purdy dog too. Dogs won't leave my feet if the collars are on.

Anybody know a part number for a replacement switch?

I went through this with SportDog when my last transmitter (SD 400) did the same thing. I JUST WANTED A SWITCH.

They said they didn't sell/make that model anymore and sold me an upgraded unit (SD 1800)with a 3/4 mile range.

When the new unit arrived it HAS THE SAME SWITCH AS THE OLD ONE

If any of you guys are electronics gurus and KNOW what the part number is and where I can get one, please let me know.

Thanks.

I have another transmitter for the SD400. After coyotes riped the collar off of Doc last year, I never replaced the collar and just got a Dogtra setup with more range.

I'll sell it cheap or do some trading for it if you or anyone wants it.

CJdavis618,
I've borrowed the Sportdog SD-400 collar from a good buddy and my daggum wife lost the transmitter 48 hours later! Looking for a replacement if you still have yours and could help out a brother out in need. Or anyone else reading that may have one lying around... I understand the SD-800 transmitter will work with this collar as well. I'd like to pay what I can... just can't do what these retailers are asking for a new one. Thanks!
