Anyone else think this zombie thing is getting out of hand?

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why the gubmint is getting into the Zombie craze to the extent they have protocol written. They're getting paid too much to play around with the Zombie craze, but there is always a method to their madness, although it may take some time to come out in the open.

It is about mindset.

Makes it easier to shoot citizens with out having any guilt.

Quote: think the zombie thing is stupid, but brilliant marketing. Just as effective as labeling everything "tactical"...Or "Sniper"...both words seem to trigger a buyer's impulse...Maybe the Mall Ninjas relate to the Zombie term easier and with less brain function...

Just a fad, I went t o a local shop to buy a soft rifle case last week and the lady was like you dont want the zombie case?? I was like No Thanks.

My wife seen the Hornady news letter in the email when they first released the Z max holy [beeep] the freak out that ensued. My wife is paranoid bout zombies and December 2012 like no other its rather annoying and we get into heated arguments over it. How ever in the end it worked in my favor I left for deployment last January and she was freaking out of the zombie BS and end of the world so she had me stock up on ammo(plus for me) just in case since I wont be back by the time the world ends and were over run with zombies lol. Since I'v left shes gone to the range by her self and bought even more ammo shes freaking out over it.

Me personally am sick of being on mailing lists for CTD, Hornady, natchezss, ect all of them send me a zombie "sale" letter at least monthly bout new zombie products.

There is a guy in my platoon good buddy of mine whos buying all the zombie stuff he can hes got knives, ammo, holsters, cases just last week he ordered on of them AR15s with the zombie camo wrap and is now looking to have one of his DE 50AE dipped in the same pattern.

surprised in such a poor economy people are going out wasting money on that crap

These dollars are then allocated to State Conservation Agencies for wildlife habitat improvement, public land acquisition, research, management, education, etc., which I'm all for.

Bingo keep the money comin because we are not gonna get a Zombie or liberal season.

Chiming in here. Yes, I think the craze has seriously outlived whatever life it warranted. See shooting shows where they obliterate what I would think are expensive zombie torso targets. Fun for a moment, pretty costly fun I would think.

I'd rather have the ammo than the "gee whiz" targets. Don

They.... WE need to be doing something about the street gangs/thugs/outlaw bikers that are wasting their lives and induldging in criminal activities on our streets, in our neighborhoods, cities, and small towns..... They are bringing society down.... in no way positively contributing to it and therefore should be shot on sight.... hang them, or whatever.... prison/jail is just a vacation with food, shelter, and medical at the taxpayers expense.

I hate zombie's, but I would pay good money to see a pack of zombies eat the cast from Twilight...

I am so much more sick of my buddies and mine, old ladies lusting after Vampire's.

I guess, I just don't get the point of wanting to get laid and be someone's dinner at the same time... Thank GOD!

I think it is pure marketing genius! Sure, we all know zombies dont exist. But what if?!

Realistically, I think it gave companies an opportunity to put to use items that weren't selling well. But as soon as they put a green ring on it with a biohazard emblem, they can expose it to a new market of consumers that want to build a zombie gun just like the one they were shooting in their zombie video game.

On a side note: my buddy was telling me about some zombie targets he saw online that bleed and ooze when you shoot them, so I thought I would pass this along for your enjoyment

I aint complaining. Box of 20 Zombie Max shells $18... Box of 20 Normal V-Max $24+ here. I dont shoot much factory ammo anyways but I did buy some just because it was cheaper to try it. It seems to work the same as normal V-Max on gophers. Ill keep a box on the shelf though, might be cool to look back on in 20 years and laugh about.

The Zombie Eo-Tech is neat, IMHO. I wouldnt put it on a hunting gun but I would put it on my plinker gun, its just fun and has a different reticle. Costs the same last I saw.

NOW, the acid green zombie grips, stocks, forends, etc is stupid. The giant shotgun/pistol/rifle zombie knives and bayonets are a bit much.
