Sorry had to

You forgot the one in the White House. Don

My interpretation of zombies is people who rely on the government to take care of them. If and when the government collapse, you will see many zombies. Best to be prepared.

Like them or not, zombies are an indelible part of American culture, sort of like Godzilla is to the Japanese culture.

been hunting them for awhile now and just when you think you are on a good zombie hoard, you'll be able to see thru your scope thats its just the emo kids who couldn't get a ride to the mall to hang out...I switched to hunting tooth fairies, there seems to be more real shot opportunities and they are not all educated already...plus its just a fad, when it wears off I can go back to trying to waste a zombie.

+1 thanks for the chuckle. I'm tired of the Zombie nonsense.

Sadly, the trend at the ranges here in Las Vegas is adapt or suffer. Tourists want to shoot automatic weapons...easier to justify shooting a zombie target than a bullseye for the cost of the rental.

Can't blame the range owners, they're in it to make money, not give money away.

I bought a 500 ct box of the Z-Max b/c it was the only bullet on the shelf. At least I can buy bulk components at the local Sportsman's Warehouse.

This is just a fad? I quit my job, haven't left the house in three months & have been reloading like there was no tomorrow!...Come to think of it, I haven't really ever seen a zombie in person but I have seen Joe Biden on TV many times. Glad I caught this thread. My groceries & money are running low. Time to rejoin the world I guess.

Considering what the zombie thing means to many people it was out of hand from the very start.

In my pool league we had a young hard right "killer" always talking about the AR he had for when the you know what hits the fan, I evaded his stupid questions. One night he's sort of in my face wanting to know "when it hits the fan and the shooting starts who are you going to be shooting?" Since we had an audience waiting to see how I answered I told him, "I'll be shooting your dumb azz because you are entirely clueless about who you are shooting and why. He was pretty annoyed by how funny everyone seemed to think that was.

Realistically, I think it gave companies an opportunity to put to use items that weren't selling well. But as soon as they put a green ring on it with a biohazard emblem, they can expose it to a new market of consumers that want to build a zombie gun just like the one they were shooting in their zombie video game.

On a side note: my buddy was telling me about some zombie targets he saw online that bleed and ooze when you shoot them, so I thought I would pass this along for your enjoyment

What's scary is when you are in a gun store and some idiot comes in and tells the guy behind the counter that, "he is looking for a rifle to protect himself against zombies". I started laughing and the salesman gave me a quick little shake of the head, like saying humor the guy. I was getting ready to ask him if he'd ever seen any of them.

This clown was dead serious, he proceeded to inquire exactly what the parameters of what was involved with shooting zombies, what range could he expect to have to be proficient at, were the ten shot mags going to be enough to do the job, how many mags should he have, etc.

The guy leaves and I asked if this was a common occurance as we rolled our eyes at each other, he told me every day.

Guys who can have a serious conversation about shooting zombies worries me.

I think the zombie thing is stupid, but brilliant marketing. Just as effective as labeling everything "tactical".

I mean, the CDC is in on it...http://emergency.cdc.gov/socialmedia/zombies.asp

Jethro

Just call it tactical And paint it Black or how ever it is coated. DUH.

The gym I go to is now recruiting people by saying they better start training to run faster and longer than zombies.

I thought that was funny. Almost as funny as the last Fleet Farm add I saw advertising a zombie apocolips ammo can. Just a plain ole' plastic bucket with the word "Zombie" painted on???

It's all fun and games till some idiot like Bill Maher, or John Stewart gets wind that Ammo sales increased last year with a huge percentage being "zombie specific" ammo. Then the HBO and Comedy central watching liberal morons are gonna wanna take our guns away, on the premise that we were stupid enough to prepare for a Zombie Apocalypse...

http://www.federalnewsradio.com/473/3096034/Marines-police-prep-for-mock-zombie-invasion

Sounds like a government conspiracy in the works to me..

Doesn't affect or bother me. If people buy it more power to them. I've been meaning to pick up some zmax ammo for a souvenir, I have some zombie deer targets for the kids, they like 'em.

For those that talk about liberal seasons and such, keep in mind this liberal shoots back.

Oh, yeah. vampire chicks are hotter than zombie chicks.
