Anyone ever done a custom on a Model 7?

You'll also note that I said that everyone should have a couple of different 17cals to make their lives truely complete.

BTW,,, How's that six pound gun coming along. Wasn't that a Model7 ?

I saw your post in that thread and I was just pullin' your leg. I lean real hard toward the 17Rem., but my next purchase may be a 17 Fireball.
My 6lb. (model 7) is in a holding pattern at 7.25lbs. till the new stock is ready. I have started using it again, but when my 17Rem. model 788 shows up I'll use it and get back on my 6lb. project.

Man I love those 600's and yours is exceptional. How does it shoot?

Not a thing, unless you're trying to save pelts.

Then if i really like the 17's then i will have an excuse to build a 17P

I think that is an excellent idea. You'll be very happy with it too. Like what has already been posted, 17's are addictive.

X 2

Don't forget to add a 17FB to the family.
They're so much fun to shoot that I wouldn't be suprised if OBammy doesn't implement some kind of "Fun Tax" on em,,, errr,, excuse me, I believe the PC term would be a "Sur Charge". LOL

Here is a group from the past.

I have thought about having another tube screwed on this gun. The .284 just doesn't see much action these days.
