Anyone ever kill a buck this big!!!

This is the buck I killed in 1992. Killed it with a bow. Scored 182 5/8 Typical.
215 LBS. Might as well quit. But I'll keep trying.

Yeah, I killed one bigger last night... Then I woke up in a cold sweat!

That sure is a dandy, but with dedication you should be able to best him, right? At least you can have fun trying. Great buck, especially with a bow. My personal best muley was with a bow, but a 24" wide 4X6 doesn't hold a candle to that monster.
 
I have killed 2 mulies with a gun that grossed over 190 nt, and one that went over 200. But that whitetail is a whopper! Only animals i get to bowhunt are elk. congrats.
 
The buck is real nice, but those bunny rabbit slippers are awsome.Looks to me you've got two things to be proud of,the little girls a darling too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That is definately a "lifetime" buck....maybe two lifetimes!

WOW!!! That is truly a terrific buck. That is one of dreams for us here in western north carolina. We don't get many "monster" bucks around here.

Looks like your a legend in your hometown and a hero to your children. Great to see you letting your children share in your good fortune.

Wow, Steve, congratulations on a spectacular buck! Just curious, what county did you take him in? I hunt in Lewis County in NE Missouri; hope to get one as nice as yours someday (I did miss a long shot on one 3 seasons ago up there that may have approached yours in size; hopefully, that won't be my last chance at such a buck!).
 
Oops, I may have just answered the question I asked in my previous post. While going back and looking at the first pic of your buck, I also read the fine print under it. Guess you took that deer in Illinois, I presume?

soem nice bucks here a few of the bucks i worked on with my cousin in his taxidermy shop i dont know the b/c or p.y score of any of them. hope the pic comes out good.
