Anyone ever see a bipod with a silver finish?

Probably not in the proper forum to ask this question, but I figured I might get a quicker response.

A while back I seen a guy who had a bipod with a silver matte finish, and he said he bought it at Cabela's. I've searched online for quite a while and can't find anything about these. Anybody else ever see one?
 
You are new to the internet so probably do not realize that all-caps is a definite no-no on the internet. It is called "shouting" and considered rude and makes your posts hard to read.

jack, i think he's yelling on purpose. i had the same thought on the silver bipod. everybody has their own likes and dislikes, but i always thought bipods were for field use, and should be easily concealable.
 
Yeah, it's not as nice as a Harris. It's more of a satin finish than a glossy finish. I don't use the rifle for camo hunting, more for range shooting hence the silver bipod to match the silver scope and stainless receiver and barrel.

To each their own, but this one is mine.
 
I believe B Square made one in a "silver" finish. I have a blued version on my walking rifle. It definitely isn't up to the quality or steadiness of the Harris, but it is considerably lighter in weight and doesn't dig into my shoulder when I carry the rifle on a sling.

I wouldn't buy one for use on a heavy rifle for long range shooting from a fixed position, but it's not bad for use on a walking rifle.

I've noticed your posts before proving yourself to be quite vulgar, foolish, and also annoying. (I'm referring to when you ridiculed Canadians a while back when somebody gave you their honest input). I didn't get involved because it wasn't my business, but now that you show disrespect to myself I will give you a little tip.

And +1 on this guy above, he's bashing Rock River AR's without basis or explanation in another thread. Stop peeing in the punch bowl dude.
 
Never have seen one before now, but I don't see the purpose. Other than this could look really good on a SS AR 15, but sure would add a lot of extra glare.

Well I am not a woman and not gonna argue with you. I cant think of even "weekend hunter or shooter" who would ever consider a shiny chrome bipod. I know everyone is different. I cant help but think some of this stuff is crazy. I would expect the same kinda reply from you if I got on here asking about a pink pokadotted rifle stock for deer hunting. I didnt mean any harm at all. As far as the Canadian remarks...... if the shoe fits wear that thing /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I was ASKING if it was shiny. Have you ever seen a silver matte finish scope? Or how about a stainless matte finish barrel on a rifle? Is it not possible that a bipod would have a similar finish and not be shiny? Hmmmm...it may be quite possible I would say. Hence why I was asking if my eyes were playing tricks on me or not. Whether or not a SILVER bipod is shiny or not is not the problem. SILVER IS SILVER and no matter how much "MATTE" there is it is still gonna stick out like a sore thumb. I dont wish to argue with you I was only poking fun at what a [beeep] idea this would be even if it matched your pretty little stainless rifle. Now As far as your kanucks go I am a PROUD AMERICAN and dont give a damn how many of you canadians are online. I live in the greatest country on earth. Just let it go...... no hard feeling here. I just gotta say I would love to see a idiot like you at the rifle range with a Silver bipod I have to say it would make my day and I would get a real good laugh. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
