Anyone ever try Standard Arms Handguns?

There are some new sub-compact auto pistols from Standard Arms of Nevada in 9mm & 40S&W. I bought one in .40, thinking it'd be a great concealed/backup gun. It worked for (5)rounds before the trigger mech. completely fell apart. Anyone else have experience with these things?

Thought about getting one myself. Guess I'll research them a little more. Sorry about your trigger misfortune. Let us know if they repair it for ya. songdoger

Update:
I just heard back from the manufacturer. They are choosing to repair (actually have my dealer repair) the pistol instead of refunding my purchase. It seems that the person assembling this model was installing a spring incorrectly? They insist it will be an easy fix--but I'm more than a little skeptical. I purchased this as a concealed carry weapon--I really wonder if I want my life depending on its operation?

MT, I'm interested in your re-test, also. I'm picking up a SA in 9mm next week. Did the Mfr give you the range of serial Nos. that were affected by this bad assembly process? If not, have you got a Ph. # so I can call and ask myself?

I have the 9mm I use here and sell I have not had any problems yet. The 40cal just came on the market a few months ago. the 9mm has been selling for a few years.

The factory # is for NV. Unfortunately it doesn't go through. They are in the process of moving to a new facility, and returned the call from a message. I never did get the opportunity to speak in person--they talked to my dealer. It seems there were only a very few affected guns, mine is serial #400. I'll be able to test fire again this weekend & let you know how it goes.
