Anyone have a Vortex Diamondback?

I'm looking for a scope for my Bushmaster AR-15 with more field of view for low light and night hunting. I don't think I will be shooting over 150 - 200yds in the areas I hunt. Probably most shots will be 100yds and under.

I read a good review on these scopes a while back. Scopes under $200.

I like The large field of view.the 2-7x35 is 64.3ft at 100yds. 1.75-5x35 is 68.4 ft, and 3-9x35 is 44.6 ft.

Anyone have first hand experience?

just got a 4-12x40 bdc..... so far it works great, clear and crisp, cheap...didnt track 1/4 clicks at 100, but i havent owned many scopes that do.....good buy for price and what it is imo...

I recently picked up a diamondback 2-7X35 rimfire and am simply amazed by the clarity in this scope. I also own a Leupold VX-II and Nikon Monarch and the DB is much better than the other 2. My buddies with their fancy scopes are also impressed with it.

Thanks guys! It's nice to get some "real" 1st person input before purchasing something.
Now 1.75-5 power or 2-7 power? I'm probably splitting hairs here. Leaning toward 2-7 power.
Thanks again!
