Anyone herd of Ncstar scopes?

Not very good, I put a handgun model on my Ruger Super Blackhawk just to try a handgun scope. It was good for about a box of 50 shots and then started to walk. It got as bad as moving about a half inch down and right every shot before I was through another 50 shots. for $30 it served its purpose of letting me know that I liked using a scope on my pistol though. Now I can buy something better.

Giermo, I am usually one who believes you get what you pay for and all of my shootin irons are adorned with Leupold and Burris scopes...however...looking for a new scope to use for night hunting and ready to plunk down $350-500.00 for a new 3-12x50 with a lighted plex I was seriously trying to find one but everybody was out of stock. At a recent gun show I came accross the scope in question and in the 3-12x50 with a lighted target dot...cool and $78.00. So far it has been through the sight in process and banged up a few times and no problems as of yet. The seller said it was guaranteed and if any problems bring it back for a replacement. I had SEVERAL other people at the show say they were good scopes when they noticed it in my bag. So far I am satisfied and if I decide to put the rattle can to it for camo purposes I wont feel bad about it at all. I also saw some Walther (German) scopes that I would swear were the NcStar scopes with their name stamped on them (private labeling) for $250.00! Just my 2cents worth.

You may be right. This add claims that they manufacture these scopes for other brand names.
