Anyone Hunt with a Eotech Holo sight?

Hello all,
Sorry for all the questions but i could not find any info on the web for hunting with it.

I am really considering the Eotech Model 511 Holo sight to put on my New predator rifle which is a Delton m4 upper with a essential arms lower. The terrain i hunt is thick and the shots can go from 10 yards out to 100, but never out past 200. I am going to plink with this rifle also. I need some good advise from people who have and use this optic..

I have not used the same holo but have used the bushnell holo and love it. it sat on my predator gun for a while then on my shot gun for turkey hunting. now it sits on my 44 mag revolver never lost zero very fast for follow ups. try it you'll like it. I wish I had more of them.

Your hunting terrain sounds pretty much like mine.. I put a 512 on my little M4 AR and love it...

I've since sold the rifle and moved the sight to my DPMS until I get a new upper made to my specifications.. and it works just as well there...

Mine uses the AA batteries and after over a year of use, they are still strong..
 
I have a eotech 512 on my bushmaster. I researched this for a while and come up with the conclusion that you want a 512 for battery life vs. the 511 that has a n-style watch battery. I havent got to hunt with it yet because I purchased it this summer but I hunt like you thick woods and shots from 25 to 50 yards and 100 would be max! I reccomend this sight highly and I got mine at optics best buy . good luck and GO FOR IT AND DONT LOOK BACK!!
