Looks like this has turned into a 45/70 Praisathon but I love to shoot my Remington Rolling Block 45/70. I have forgotten how long I have had it. It has a curved but and a huge "Buffalow Gun" barell that I think was made by Neumrich Arms way back when. With all that weight it dosent recoil bad at all. A few years ago I bought a chamber adapter from a guy in Anchorage AK. With it you can shoot 45 ACP in the 45/70. Sounds and kicks about like a .22.

Yup... Remington Arms (owned by Cerberus) bought Marlin back in '07, spent a few years closing down the Marlin plants and shifting the work to the Remington plants.
