Anyone tried one of Joe Bob's Trigger Adjustin Screws?

Yep...the one that I bought didn't work with my Ergo Deluxe grip. I would have guessed it was compatible with any grip. That wasn't the case in my situation.

Installation is as easy as removing your current grip screw, and using this one in its place.
Once the grip is installed, you simply use the second hex wrench that they send...to adjust the inside screw.

Scroll way down on link in OP for detailed instructions for installation, gunny. They suggest locktite on inner screw, I was wondering about outer screw.

cbass, I've heard of some using a short 1/4 x (28 I think!...whatever the thread count is on standard grip screw) socket head screw to accomplish same thing. It is installed under grip screw and adjusted same way but I would imagine the coarser thread would be very touchy on adjustment, and I'm sure a threadlock screw or locktite would be necessary as well.

As long as outer screw does not move, the commercial screw looks like a far better solution to trigger creep on a stock trigger.

I just used a small grub screw with threadlocker to take up the slack. Works good, trigger pull is much shorter, and Lighter with the JP springs. I got the shortest grub screw and a slightly shorter grip screw from Fastenal for a buck maybe. I did have to tap my hole all the way through on my PSA lower also.

We've sold thousands of them. They hold adjustment well when loctited. They'll help quite a bit with your standard milspec triggers with a lot of pre-travel and creep.

I installed one of the plug screws and adjusted it to just where the safety rotates and had a doubling and reset issue. The trigger was sweet though. I have not used Joe Bobs version.

Ive done 3 lowers with set screw, cpl cents, mine we all 1/4-28 and lowers were already drilled and tapped all the way
Fyi if you get it in to far, the saftey will not work, back it out little at a time.

1/4-28 is the mil spec size. Some lowers arent tapped all the way through, usually the last thread or two. Iv seen some with drill burrs where the hole meets the fcg pocket.

Yup. We were out of stock for 1-2 weeks earlier this month but they're in stock now. We actually had run out of the extra long wrenches (we have to special order them) so that held up the sale of the wrenches but we're good to go now.
