Anyone tried the One Leaf Mars MT1000

Looks like Oneleaf is listening to its customers, and I'm patiently waiting to update the firmware to make my scope more betterer.
I don't see anything about Wifi and I've never had an issue with the one shot zero function, but the #2 improvement below is one I've been asking for since I bought the scope.
Scrolling through 20 palette modes got old real quick.
SJC

1) Optimized the Oneshot Zero feature for better precision.
2) Added new Palette and Scene Mode Enable/Disable options.
You can now enable or disable specific Palettes and Scene Modes in the menu. If you disable the ones you don't use, they will no longer appear when you switch modes using the shortcut button, making it faster and easier to cycle through only your preferred options.
i did a google search asking what improvements came with version 14 .. google said wifi was included .. we will see ..

I cut and pasted from the Oneleaf website, but you never know.
They sent an E mail stating that it'll be a few days before they send the newest firmware as they're backlogged.

they told me the same thing .. i dont know why we had to send a qr code to recieve the download .. did you notice specific sight in instructions after you install the firmware .. makes me wonder if sight in is only good for the scope power you used when sighting in ..

The QR code let's them know what optic is being updated.
I think they're saying to keep the magnification on a natural number (1,2,3,4,5), not 1.5 as an example.
I sight my rifles in at 4x and have never had an issue with POI when decreasing or magnifying.

this is a copy/paste of the e-mail i recieved from oneleaf ..
Hi
It is expected to be sent out thru the email within one week after we receive the QR code.. As many customers have requested the update, our team needs additional time to burn the firmware onto each device individually.
Thank you for your understanding and patience
Best Regards

"our team needs additional time to burn the firmware onto each device individually." I'll call BS on that one. More like SW pirating protection. Or same model built with different parts.

WiFi is not included. The official release notes on the oneleaf site make no mention of WiFi, so I wasn't expecting it. WiFi requires hardware. If the scope already had the hardware the WiFi would have been working already.

You do lose your zero and all settings, ballistic info etc. I haven't had any chance to zero or use mine yet, so, no biggie.

Zeroing should be done using digital zoom of only 1,2,4,8. Support explained why very well. It has nothing to do with using digital zoom, but only the coordinate digits after the decimal. Makes sense. I'll paste the explanation they sent below.

Update process was fast and easy.

My bet on needing an individual binary file per device is simply hardware changes in production. Or a specific component that requires encrypted instructions. Whatever the reason, it was no big deal to get the file and install it. Support was very responsive and easy to deal with.

The zero/digital mag explanation:

Note:
You could zero the scope at all digital zoom 1x/2x/3x/4x/5x/8x under the version 014.

However, the primary reason why zeroing is recommended strictly at 1x, 2x, 4x, 8x magnification is to help users more easily restore the zero profile after a firmware update.
Firmware updates automatically clear saved zeroing data, requiring coordinates to be re-entered manually. In Firmware 014, coordinate values display up to two decimal places (0.01 precision).

Depending on your zoom level, a single knob adjustment changes the coordinate value by different step sizes:
1x, 2x, 4x, 8x: Step increments are 1, 0.50, 0.25, and 0.125. Coordinates adjusted at these powers cleanly end in readable values (such as .00, .12, .25, .50, or .75).
3x or 5x: Step increments are fractional (0.33 and 0.20). Mixing adjustments between non-binary steps can produce complex decimal trailing values (for example, 542.91). If you lose track of click counts, replicating these exact numbers manually after a firmware update becomes unnecessarily difficult.

Using your scope in the field:
You can freely use 3x and 5x while hunting or shooting. This restriction applies only during the initial zeroing process in the menu so that your saved coordinates remain clean and easy to restore whenever you update your device.
