I have a spitfire and it does a good job when the wind is low but when the wind is really moving I don't seem to see any action.I was wondering if a external speaker would help or if I should just save up a bit and get a more powerful caller?

Using a external speaker will increase the volume and you will be able to spread the sound out more with the additional speaker.

In all of the above pictures you can see my Foxpro SP-55 speaker that I panted camo. I use a SP-55 external speaker on every stand.

I use the speaker from a johnny stewart caller with my spitfire when I'm crow hunting.

I have a spitfire and if it is calm to 10 mph winds it is fine. But for anything over that I do carry my speaker and amp that I had originally bought for my home made E-caller. When added to my spitfire you can really crank up the volume...
