Anyone using ATV or side by side

I love my Polaris! But I usually end up looking for new trails to rip up and don't get any calling done! [image]

From what Ive read on other forums, the 700 Rangers are only getting around 10-15, the 500's do better. Those guys are "trail riding" though, so they may be harder on mileage than hunting would be.

I use a Rhino 700 fi. In Texas it suits my purposes better with my chair and Lightforce lights for night hunting. I can also get into areas I normally can't with the truck.

Upgraded to a Camo, Power Steering Rubicon last fall. Decided to go all out on the accessories. Hand Warmers, Silencer, Front Box, Rear Trunk, Spotlight, Receiver Hitch w/Shelf, Double Rifle Rack(modified) & Pistol Holster.

It has worked great for us this winter.

I also use a Honda Rancher. This is up at Soldier Meadows Ranch, Nevada up by Black Rock

For many years now I have used Yamaha Big Bear's and the Yamaha Grizzly 700. They work great and have given me years of great service. The 700 is a bit of a fuel hog and is not as agile as the Big Bear 400, which I prefer for going through the woods.
Just last week I purchased the new Mule XC it is superb for doing what I do and the ride is very comfortable. I am adding a few aftermarket options next week, and it will be ready for the ranch. I am a bit surprised at the agility of the machine, it wll go most anywhere. The cargo bed is great for hauling the cooler and such.
AT first my thoughts were that it was marginally powered with the 400cc engine, but I was wrong. The power is abundant, I also like the fact that it is not fuel injected, no electric fan and it is air cooled. The fuel consumption is minimal for what it is and the simplicity of design and the metal dump bed make this Mule quiet durable. Overall The Mule 610XC is superb. Cooper17HMR

Ditto. On this place there's only one small stretch of gravel road where speed is a factor. The rest of the 390 acres is where the Mule shines. I love that bench seat - my wife can sit next to me!

When friends come out for the 'tour' I can point out and explain things without having to turn around all the time.

This place would make a great atv test-track but the 610 Mule (4x4) has never once stranded me or gotten totally stuck.

I only go to town (15 miles) every month or so, so the Mule gets more use by far than my truck.

I have a small farm/ranch in the Ozarks.
Hilly and wooded. We use a Mule for most of our hauling,
chores and fencing. I can toss a ton of "stuff" in the
back of the mule and I'm good to go for a day. If I need
to haul hay, I can toss 8 square bales in the back and
strap them down.

Also works great for running the back roads in the area.
Toss the gun in the back and go.

07 Kawasaki Brute Force 750i, CDI, Custom 240 watt split tube ipod stereo (made by yours truly...really plays Lightning Jack well)Drop rack, 27" Mudlites, etc. I don't hunt without it (my season is over so i'm switching to my 14" wheels with the Kenda road tires for cruising the 'hood':
