Anyone want to share Load info for Dtech 1:8 AR's

Not that it make's any difference, but I didn't shoot those groups. They were shot by a customer, whom I would say is an average shot. I did however, measure the groups. After over 35 years of Various firearm competition, I hope I got it right, maybe I have Alzheimer's? I hope not.

So you take the center of the 2 bullets furthest apart and subtract the diameter of the bullet?

I've always just used the distance between the center of the 2 furthest bullets. Or, right side to right side, left to left etc..

So what is the correct method?? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

I always assumed it was outside to outside. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

I measure outside to outside at the widest point. Then subtract whatever the diameter of the hole is in the target.

For .30's this often ends up being ~.290 in my targets. It varies with the targets and backing. Measure some bullet holes in your targets and you will see that subtracting .224 for .22 centerfires isn't quite right.

I dont shoot BR though so it is mostly irrevelant. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
