APC Kill Suit Sapper

I'm thinking about getting an APC Kill Suit Sapper, but I'm a big guy! 6'3" and usually wear 3XLT and a 48" waist. Any other big guys out there tried these things that can give me info on how they fit?
 
I'm not that big at 6-2 230 but I just got a Ameristep 3-D Leafy Poncho today and I would highly recommend it. Light (3lb) and leafy. Not a ghillie but enough to hide you on a fence row. You can sit on a seat/bucket and it covers you well. Amazon had it for $53 shipped.
 
You'll be good to go. I talked to them for the same reason and said you should offer a bigger one. They were right, it's got tons of room for us full figured gals!
 
I haven't tried APC's suits, but my experience with lightweight synthetic fiber suits has not been good. As advertised, they are lightweight and cooler than jute. However, the threads tend to tangle and bunch up, resulting in a "striped" appearance to the suit, and the fuzzy little threads soak up leaves and sticks like Velcro. While this may sound good on paper (added natural camo), it exacerbates the bunching problem, and the suit quickly ends up looking like a leaf and stick striped zebra. If I were you, I would get a jute suit. It's heavier and hotter, but does the job better.
 
i use my dads ghillie suit he had in the armed forces an it is hotter than **** bt they dont c me i've had a grey walk right by me maybe 10 yards away .
 
The suits don't tangle at all, they don't bunch up either. They aren't threads, its more of a jersey material. Yes burrs ans such will attach like velcro, but taking 10 minutes every other hunt to remove them is no problem. Especially compared to other suits I've worn. I've worn lots of other suits in the field, and I'll never wear anything other than the KILL SUIT SAPPER.

I called in a Gray the other day, stupid thing tried to circle the wrong way, he ended up less than 5 feet from my buddy in a WW Kill Suit. Seriously two more steps and he would have ran into him. My buddy said it was the coolest hunting experience he's ever had... wanted to write a testimonial right away. Wishing he had his shotgun, instead of a rifle.
