AR-15 in 204 Ruger

You could purchase the parts from a couple of different companies, or I could put one together for you for about the same price as the parts. I would highly reccomend the Pac-Nor barrel that White Oak Armament sells. I have gotten excellent results with them.

Mike, any recommendation as to barrel length, fluting or not, or other options? Also, any idea of a finished weight on a recommended rifle?

I have very little reloading experience with the .204, but I think you would be well severed to get at least a 22" barrel. I have a 24" fluted and non-fluted .204 at the shop, I'll have to throw them on the scale and let you know about the weight.

ok not hyjackin your thread but why don't ya see 22.250 ar's

I don't think 22-250 would fit in the GI magazine

I just returned from a hunt in Texas and had a White Oak .204 upper. I shot the Hornady 45 grain sp bullets and it will drive tacks! We shot 2 hogs with it and it dropped them in their tracks! one weighed about 250-275lbs. I was very impressed with the performance of this rifle. They can give an excellent camo package on the entire upper. Others in the hunting party really loved the way the rifle looked and performed as well. I would give this baby four thumbs up for sure. it knocked down every coyote we shot with it.
It comes in many length barrels and looks, give them a check out.
