AR-15 Timney Trigger

Did you guys ever get any info on tuning it a bit more. I am on my second one and this one is worse than the one I sent in. I think thye just grab another package and send it out. In fact I know they do I marked the old one and this one is a new one.

That's odd I recently bought one and it has been perfect, can't feel any creep in it what so ever.

Hopefully they help you with the issue.

I have 4 of them and really like them. No problems with creep, although I just got one last week I haven't tried yet. Only trouble I ever had with one was the first one I got doubled quite often and Timney replaced it.

Thanks.

Jeff is a stand up guy....dealt w/ him a few times...being only 40mins from the timney shop is nice...never felt creep whatsoever on any of there triggs,...just break.... good luck

if not instaled per instruction they will double....and if trying to shoot groups by following strick trigger squeaze i've had them double, so when shooting groups i single load ...never had a double in a hunting situaition nor do i think any of you will....

I have the same one that JBO linked to (great price!) and it is a crisp/clean break. Also when shooting for groups I focus on the squeeze and follow through to reset and have no doubles. Regards

I had to try one, they do what Timney states and are easy to install. It is just pins and set screws. The 3# is nice.

I shoot RRA National Match in 3 of my AR'a they are better than stock triggers.

I like my JARD 3# the best, if you want a light trigger. They sell a 1 1/2# trigger.($150) You have to tap the pistol grip screw hole thru first. This can be a problem for the novice. You will have to buy a tap or ask your local gumsmith for help.

Will Timney drop in work with the standard safety selector switch or ?

Thinking about installing the JP yellow springs in my lower but heard of problems,

So I thought Timney drop in and now I read this thread so I'm unsure... lol

I've been shooting a pair of the #3 Skeletons for about four years. No doubling, no issues and no creep. They do very well for me in matches and on PD's.
