To answer a few questions that were posed to me:
Lazy D - my primary use will be to transport the weapon. I know that using a sling as a stability aid, is incredibly effective and versatile. However, I do my coyote hunting from shooting sticks. I find it suits my purposes for how and where I hunt.
Tony - Good point. My hunting AR presently is equiped with a very long barrel. I want to say it's a 22" barrel on my present hunting rig. I hope to change at least the upper in the not so distant future, if not go to a whole new 16" barreled rifle. Muzzle taking a dip in the rocks and dirt -not good!
