AR prices today

You'd be better off ordering from a retailer than direct from DPMS due to the backlog.

We have some DPMS LR-308Ts in stock right now. However, I'm not sure what model you're after currently.

Ordered from my local gun shop who is a DPMS direct dealer.

I am looking for DPMS #RFLR-308

Basically every dealer can buy direct from DPMS. However, dealers can typically get much shorter lead times by snagging inventory through distributors. If he can snag it through a distributor rather than buying direct it should cut the wait time down quite a bit.

That's what I'm hoping for! Although I was expecting some wait time, wasn't thinking that long.

Prices are about the same as they were prior to the "panic". We typically price ourselves a bit under MSRP.

Any signs of the complete NF lowers coming back down close to where they were?

Maybe? We don't control that end of the supply system. Prices from the molder went up and thus also went up at NF. Our inputs on these lowers are much higher than the batches a year ago so our retail prices are higher. If our cost lowers then yes the prices will come down a bit. That's all speculation though.

I am seeing some prices of $119.00 and $125.00 for a complete NFL now. That's back to before panic prices.

went to the local scheels. They had a RRA predator pursuit with the 20" barrel for 1299.99. Seemed pretty pricey. Not willing to budge on the price either. Think I will have to wait some more or try and locate one online somewhere and pay the FFL transfer fee.

I went to both Cabelas here and Scheels, they have AR-15 in both 5.56/223 and 308 platforms for reasonable prices. Also the two Wal-Marts I go to have AR-15 rifles. Ammo is still hit and miss, but I have seen reloading components in good supply and other types of equipment for AR-15 in good supply also. Especially at the Scheels here in Sandy, UT.
Cabela's in Lehi, UT has good supply of stuff also and stock of AR-15 platforms.

When I get some more money in, I am going to jump on one of the AR-15s, just haven't decided which one yet.
Also a sweet hardly used XD-45 is at Scheels that I have been eyeing lol

Around here everything is pretty much back to normal handguns included, the ammo situation is a bit scary, 9MM and 22LR is tough to find at times and a bit pricey when you do.

Wednesday I walked through Sportsman's Warehouse...24 AR variants in the racks. No .223/5.56, 9mm, .40, .45 .22LR etc.

Here in the very NE corner of Texas, AR's are common and at the old prices. The rush is over.
Ammo is getting better. Last Moday EVENING Academy had more ammo on the front counter in more calibers than I have seen in 6 months. Still no 22lr. Walmart had all the handgun, 223 and 7.62 ammo you could want when I got groceries Saturday morning.
I have buying primers at a small local shop for quite a while. He seems to be getting them regularly along with some powder. It seems as though the Alliant powders are the hardest to find here. I sure could use a 4lb jug or 8lb keg of Bullseye. I'm down to less than a pound and it will be gone by weeks end. I bought a couple pounds of Red Dot and a pound of Universal Clays to get me by until I can find some Bullseye at resonable pricing.
