Me and 2 of my friends have the Colt HBAR 16" 1/9 twist barrels and all 3 of them shoot under MOA. Sounds like you found a deal. They make an excellent calling rifle. If you reload try Benchmark powder, it burns very clean and will give you great velocity, I get 3285 fps with 50 grain bullets. Mine hardly looks the same as when it was new but here it is, by far my favorite rifle.

Isnt the only problem with colts though is you can only use colt uppers and lowers together. If you decide down the road you want a diffent upper you have to buy a colt. I dont think I would like the restictions this could cause.
 
Not exactly, my Colt has regular push pins and .250 holes. Some of the "transition" guns had a larger pivot hole and were very common but you still could use a conversion pin. The ones produced now are standard.
