AR rifle Case

Whats everyone using for a rifle case, the hard sided one is just to bulky and takes up to much room, i'm looking for a canvas one that does a good job.

I got my son one from Midway for Christmas and was really impressed. I may get myself one like it, lots of storage and really good padding all around. Heres a link if you are interested.

I bought an Allen soft side case at Bi-Mart this spring for about $30 IIRC.

I really like the VooDoo Tac case. It holds 2 rifles & has enough pockets for ammo,mags,eyes & ears, and a pistol or two. They have enough padding to protect and are not bulky if you only carry your rifle...

Thanks for the replys, going by cabelas this weekend, also not far from an allen outlet store, which case do you have moonshine.

I'm using Bulldog cases, not sure they're any better than any others, but they were what my LGS had and the price was decent.

They seem to be pretty tough but well padded with plenty of mag pockets for me.

As far as I know it's their standard "tactical rifle case" or something like that. It's got four mag pouches on the outside and a zippered pocket. Shoulder strap on the back. Black nylon. It's nothing fancy, but it works. Sorry I can't come up with more info than that. The case is about ten miles from here...

Yip nothing fancy, just Bulldog cases for the longer barreled ones, I think they're 48", and Uncle Mikes? for the shorter ones. They've worked very well for me.

I use one of these for my RRA Predator Pursuit. Built pretty solid and provides good padding. Fits without scope removal. plenty of room for mags in the accy pocket.

I've got a Blackhawk case that's held my AR behind the seat of my pickup for 5-6 years and I love it. 4 mag/ammo velcro pouches, slash pocket, a big velcro pouch, shoulder strap and carry handle. Holds a scoped 20in AR with extra room, 8 mags(or a hole bunch of ammo boxes) an armorers wrench, eyes ears, and a ton of useless crap that I can't seem to get rid of. The padding is very thick, heavy duty zipper and velcro, etc. I had an Allen before it that was pretty good, but the Blackhawk is great. It's a touch bulky when it's way overloaded, but still fits behind the seat of a single cab chevy. If I thin down all the crap, it fits behind the seat of my old toyota nicely.
