AR Stock suggestions

I have a buddy thats wanting to get an AR and start chasing yotes. I let him mess with mine today and the problem is the stock is too short. This guy is a fireman and he looks like godzilla. My R-15 looks like a toy rifle. His arms almost touch the ground, not really, but he is t-a-l-l! Whats an easy solution, short of surgery on his arms?

New VLTOR A5 stock setup adds a longer buffer tube allowing you to have a longer length of pull. You can get it with the stock or you can get just the buffer tube, spring and buffer separately and add what ever stock you want.

I am 6'6" and am using a Magpul UBR along with the enhanced butt pad that adds another 1/2" of length. It's very comfortable for me.

Not hard to do at all. If you have an adjustable stock already it's as easy as removing the original and putting the replacement on the buffer tube. You just need to make sure you get the correct one based on your buffer tuber. It will be either a commercial one or a Milspec one.

If you have an A2 type fixed stock, just remove the screw at the back and remove the stock. Be careful not to loose the spring and detent from the back of the receiver. The buffer tube will unscrew from the receiver. You can normally hold the receiver between your legs to remove the buffer tube.
