White Lithium?

I use white Lit or red moly grease on the sear interfaces of my triggers.

Kinda interesting to see such a minimal gap between bone dry and greased.

Kinda interesting to see such a minimal gap between bone dry and greased. I think it would be much greater with out the extremely fine polish job! Very little friction to begin with.....

George Fennel is not a "salesman". Far from it. He is a lubrication expert who holds degrees in chemical engineering. He invented FP-10. After he sold the company, they kept changing the ingredients until the product no longer represented what he originally put on the market. He then went on to develop the Weapon Shield line of lubrication products. He "walks the walk" so to speak. He's not some ex "operator" who is out to make a fast buck, trying to pass off plant extracts and vegetable oil as firearms lubricants. Much like the makers of "Frog Lube" do.

You talking about LAV and the fireclean crap?

It's all the same. All of it is a vegetable oil base with plant esters. It's why "Fireclean" has a "use by" date on it. The stuff has a limited shelf life and will spoil. Who wants that crap on your guns? Frog Lube is no different. They just blend in some mint oil so it smells better. So much of this crap is on the market today. All of it claiming to be "better" than the next. Weapon Shield is the real deal. It's is a petroleum based product. The Weapon Shield Grease is a Lithium based grease with very good wear characteristics.

I figure if the TW-25 is good enough for m61-A1 and the GAU-8, it should work in my AR.

I'm always impressed when people come out from their 6+ months in a cave to pimp their buddies product.

Say what you want but frog lube and Hornaday one shot have been about the top two for lubricity and over all rust protection.

Actually it is quite the opposite. I haven't been here for 6+ months, because I have a whole other life I live that's NOT behind a monitor. Then again, 33 posts in 4+ years pretty much proves that. And I've never met Mr. Fennel.

Here is a direct wear comparison test between Fraud Lube and Weapon Shield. Judge for yourself.

Sounds like you'll be good to go. Well it will definitely be interesting to see if the weapon shield products drop the trigger pull lbs lower than the synthetic 75w-140 gear lube . Oh another interesting thing i saw,,, years ago a guy using one of those same machines used a little coca cola on it with very good results....
