AR10 6 Creedmoor barrel

I’m looking to build a 22” 6CM barrel in a 1:10 twist and with a shortened free bore to run 70gr NBTs. So when my barrel is being made should I go with a Rifle length +1 gas system or +2. I’m currently using a 22” 1:8 twist with a rifle length gas system and it’s hard on brass. Plus I was told the slower twist would cause increased pressure. And yes it’s suppressed. Thanks

I would go with an 8 twist in case you decide later you want to run a heavier bullet. The twist rate isn't doing much for your pressure situation. Beating on brass is just the nature of running an AR10 suppressed.
With a 22" barrel, I would definitely go +2 gas, and run an adjustable gas block, and an H3 buffer. That's how my 6 Creed is set up, and it's pretty tame. My brass comes out quite dirty, but in good shape.

Or, if you are set on lighter bullets just go .243. I agree with suppressyourself on most points above. He’s got some great video’s on tuning AR10’s too. They helped me a lot when i was trying to get mine to run properly. I’m just in camp “light and fast” when it comes to the bullets hence the 243 rec.

What round do you run in your .243 bolt gun?

I run 75Vmax at 3650 with Stabal 6.5

I’m running an 1:8 twist now, no problem with with cutting holes groups but since I was wanting a longer gas system longer than rifle length figured I might try a 1:10 twist

Where can I find your videos??

I put on a 22" criterion on my build, went with saami spec chamber, 1-8 shoots about 1/2 moa with 70gr nbt.
I think it was a rifle length gas system, adjustable gas block, h3 buffer, using a dd suppressor.
