AR15 .224 Cycling issue

Just finished building my AR15 .224 Valkyrie. Was shooting it this weekend and every 3rd round would jam coming out of the magazine. When it happened it would push the bullet in about and 1/8”. It only happened on the one side. I am confused how one side cycles fine but the other side it jams. Any help would be great. I can post pictures when I get home today.

Feed ramp would be my guess, grab the handle and cycle it slow you'll see where it's hitting more than likely. Try another magazine, some sit higher than others, flat HP bullets lots of times are the problem, they should feed however. Use plastic tips, FMJ's, OTM match. see what happens.
A bit of polishing of the feed ramps might be all it takes.

I ran in to that problem with my 6x6.8 with HPs. I read something that said to take needle nose pliers and bend the front of the feed lips up slightly. You want them to gently slope up the whole way just a few thousandths. I did all my mags that way and haven't had a problem since.
