AR15 Bayonet Lug Mount Bipod

WOW !!!up to 41 lookers and no comments ,,,well I got another ? my buddy has a dpms & it has the high sight with bayonet lug ,,,my question is is that sight removable ???
 
A quick look at the "hunting AR" thread says not too many guys on here are running bayonet lugs.
Probably not much basis of knowledge.
Especially on a 16" rifle, most effective thing a bayonet lug does is scare liberals.

Speaking to the bipod, it probably has all the shortcomings of the "clothespin" style; i.e., it acts directly on the barrel when you vary the amount of pressure on the bipod.
 
ahhhh to bad for him ,,,I didn't think about the presure from resting affecting his shot ,,,I'm running shooting stix for mine (it hasn't yet shot a yote )I don't need a bipod on the end of mine adding any more wieght as I got a 20" heavy thanks for the response ,,,Chad
