AR15 bolt carrier question

I recently built two new EBR's for my collection. My main concern is that I am not lubricating the bolt's properly. Could someone please explain this procedure to me and what product to use?

Yeah, yeah... I have seen this illustration many times, but what is the best lubricant to use? I am really not the biggest fan of CLP. Any other good ideas?

I've been using Brownells "Friction Defense" and think it's better than any other I've tried over the years. It's fairly new on the market.

When I am building, and for use in the summer, I use FP-10. It's the best I have found. It is too heavy for winter so I normally just clean the bolt and carrier and shoot it dry during the winter. The amount of shooting that I do in the winter is very light. If I shot it allot in the winter I would probably use some synthetic motor oil, like Mobile 1.
