Hi I have a friend selling a completed stag lower for $200. It is new and never had a upper installed on it. He never completed it and ran out of money so he is selling. Are these any good? Will a Rock River arms complete upper work with the stag lower. Thanks
One more question. On RRA web site is says the cal. is a .223 wylde. Is this some special cal. that requires certain ammo or will any .223 bullit work in it. Thanks
223 wylde will shoot a .223 Rem. or a 5.56 nato damn near the same thing if your looking for an upper look at Model 1 sales my model 1 (shaw barrel) shoots 1 in or less if I do my part and the price is pretty good there you have to specify .223 or 5.56. If I were you I woold look at a standard upper half 16 or 20 inch unless your gonna do a ton of shooting at one sitting I have the 20" SS fluted with 11 degree target crown its a little heavier than the 16 but I can shoot a quite a few before it gets hot check em out here http://www.model1sales.com/subcats.cfm?Category=02&storeid=1
Stag lowers are made by CMT. They currently have HUGE government contracts supplying mil-spec lowers to our boys over seas! THEY ARE GREAT GREAT GREAT LOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
That is way cheap...I have a Stag lower with a RRA upper. Fits great.
If your not going to buy it can I have it?
It would be a great addition to the DTech upper I'm about to order.
By the way...How long is the wait for an upper DTech?
