Arizona Predator Hunt/Guide or DIY??

So if all goes well, looks like I'll be spending the last week of February in the Scottsdale area. While I'm there, I'd like to try to get out for a couple days and do some Predator hunting to see the country. I will probably use a guide. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations? You can pm me if you'd like.

Bump....I'm also researching the possibility of a "do it yourself" situation, but I'm not familiar with the area. Not worried about paying a guide to have a little better quality hunt especially only having one or two days to go out. Obviously the public land out there is endless!

Craig Steel does guided hunts based out of Kingman, AZ. The name of his company is Predator Exclusives. He is several hours from Scottsdale but would be a good guy to hire as a guide. https://predatorexclusives.com/. I have personally predator hunted Arizona by myself and done well. If you end up going that route get the onX app for your phone so you can see the color coded public land boundaries and start making stands on public land.

Anything epic about AZ hunting regs I should know for those of you that hunt there? I've been reading them online, pretty cut and dry and it seems a hunting license allows me to take coyote, fox, and bobcat which is pretty cool. Price bad at all. I can probably rent a 4WD vehicle for a few days and hunt on my own pretty cheap.

I've never hunted outside of Iowa, and I'm pretty excited to see some new country and do some calling.

AZ Predator Callers is a hunting organization in Mesa, AZ that might be a good place to hook up with a local. Here is their website link: http://azpredatorcallers.com/

There are about 8 different species of predators and furbearers in southern AZ to hunt. Your AZ hunting license doubles as a recreation permit to access state land. Nothing epic about the regulations. Be careful not to shoot within a 1/4 mile of buildings. Lots of public and state land to hunt once you get out of the city.

Thanks for the link fursniper...I joined thier FB page. Certainly should be able to get some good info, or perhaps even find someone to tag along with. Should be a fun trip, no matter what!
