Armasight CO-X Alpha?

I have a Armasight co-x gen 2. It worked ok if there were shadows you sure have to use the illuminator to see. also low magnification 2X works better, bought it in May something happened with battery. The cap is locked onto the threads making that part below come loose from the housing. I filled out there online support form and have been waiting a week for an approval to ship it back to them.

If had to do over again I think I would go with a thermal scope.

Give them a call, you will get an rma a lot faster that way.

I have been told you get a point of impact shift with front mount nv.
So I bought a back mount night vision there is no poi shift. Check out hightechredneck.

The POI shift is something that I'm concerned about, and was hoping someone could let me know if that is an issue with this particular unit.

Old Cat, how do you manage the stock fit when you add an optic to the back of the scope? Adding something to the back has less chances for issues with POI, but I'm not sure how I would like the change in eye relief and length of pull.

Since Bass Pro has these, I thought I could give it a try, and return it if there were any issues.

I already have a thermal scope that works great, but I'm looking for an option that will give me better target ID. With pigs its not an issue, with coyotes I'm worried about shooting a neighbors dog.

Thanks for all the input so far!

The pvs-14 Kevin sells has a boot that slips on to lengthen your stock,
slips off to shorten creating the eye relief needed. I have one you have absolutely no poi
shift. Move it from one gun to another no poi shift. The pvs-14 has no magnification, it comes from your day scope. Length of pull is not an issue with me. I like this set up, you don't have to dedicate a gun to it. Comes off one scope goes on another nothing changes. PVS-14 mounts on back of scope, I previously said front sorry.
