I don't think they are junk at all.....But........I think more people find so much better value in the Pulsars that not many buy the Zeus over them. I would also never recommend the 60hz Zeus model, talk about a battery eating fool! I had the Zeus 336 60hz model, and it ate batteries like there was no tomorrow.
I tried all sorts of rechargeable's when I had mine, and couldn't find any that were worth it. Most on a full charge, would show half charge once in the scope, and only last a quarter of the time of a standard battery.
