I'll bet the media will do it's best to down play the Muslim thing so they don't offend the Allah cultist in America. He had this all planed out for days and knew full well what he was about to do. And all this crap about deployment. With his rank and MOS, he would no doubt sat at a rear area base and never seen any combat.

The media will do there best to portray this "terrorist" as a poor man with PTSD that was in fear of his life and didn't want to go to war. All the people he worked with added to his state. Well bull, how many doctors out there on so many bases do the same job and don't react in this manner. His past statements about the war, the treatment of Muslims and yelling Allah Akbar, this was a Muslim on a mission, to kill Americans. Should the military look into all those that claim Islam as there religion? Sure, but it won't happen because it would be a resist move not tolerated in America. We won't look for terrorist in our midst cause we don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

By the time people wake up to this virus called Islam, they will run the country. The media has already going after the poor muslim guy that couldn't take the stress. His friends call him a good American and a good soldier, yeah he was a good soldier, but for what army???

No doubt the BBC will show concern for the non Muslim community when they start killing Muslims.
 
The president gave the press there marching orders when he advised against 'jumping to conclusions'. Of all the shooters we have endured in this country, this is the first time I can remember the press explaining mitigating factors. Clearly, the decision has been made to spin this as a loyal American soldier who lost his mind. The facts do not support the contention that this man was a loyal American suffering from stress related psychological injuries. Hasan dressed in traditional muslim garb and took a loaded weapon and additional ammunition into a facility full of unarmed soldiers. Mr. Hasan then declared that 'Allah is good' and began to kill unarmed Americans. This is a textbook act of terrorism and does not require any ties to organized terror cells. Mr. Hasan had made his political disatisfaction known on previous occasions. Other soldiers were well aware that Hasan was opposed to our wars in muslim countries. I would like explained to me exactly what circumstances prevent this from being a terrorist attack?

we went shopping today in Columbus, GA. That's home to Ft Benning.

I saw a lot of soldiers today. i couldn't help but think of this guy every time I looked at one of them. They have to be wondering if they have a time bomb walking with them right now.

Haven't read ever posting on this thread, so maybe I'm duplicating what someone else posted. But, How in hades did that JERK ever get in the Army to begin with? He's a walking time bomb.
I would HOPE the Army gives him the death sentence at his trial.
 
I haven't posted on this because I have been in shock over the shooting to begin with and then in awe of the terrible response and handling by both the president and the media.

I took my son hunting this weekend and couldn't get my mind off of this. What are we, as a people, going to do when our own government will not protect us from these crazy muslims within our midst? When the subways, movie theaters, and malls start blowing up in America what are we going to do? I'm afraid it is going to come down to us as individuals because everyone in the government is too worried about offending someone instead of protecting the rest of us.

My heart and prayers have gone out to the dead and wounded at Ft. Hood. If it were my decision that SOB would already be dead and in a hole somewhere.
 
The only member of government asking for an investigation into Hasans possible connections to organized muslim extremists is Joe Lieberman. As a democrat, i often find Lieberman aggravating. However, this time he is correct.

You do know that Lieberman isn't a registered democrat. But he seems to be the only one wanting to probe the reasons why this terrorist was allowed to be in the Army.

Casey started nattering about 'diversity' and 'backlash against muslim soldiers' on day one.I am almost certain this is something his civilian handlers have emphasized. U.S. Army soldiers are not stupid and they are probably keeping a vigilant eye on their muslim comrades. The tragedy is that the army brass is more concerned with political correctness than they are with the safety of their troops.
 
I don't want diversity in the military, I want uniformity.

Loyal Americans, of any color and/or creed, who are uniformly bound by their love of our country and their commitment to defend it.

America haters have no place within its ranks.

To me that's just a given!
