I have a question My uncle has recently got his FFL License. And we got an email today about this being in stock. They look like they are pretty good quality. Comes complete with metal FCG. With a retail of around $130. What do you guys think of these? I know and understand can't sell them here as He is not a sponser.

Thanks

I seen a polymer lower the other day at a local shop, the name brand was PCR?? never heard of them before then, but the price was right at $139 for a complete lower. I was wondering myself if a polymer lower was worth messing with.

New Frontier has polymer lowers with their logo on them. I believe the PCR ones were Plum Crazy? As for ATI, I 've seen their ads in Shotgun News, but I've not heard any feedback, good or bad, about them as a company or their products.

Quote: It has tested reliably with .22, .556, and .410, but is not recommended for higher calibers. Just that part alone would steer me clear

I'll stick with my New Frontier Armory lower. Lifetime warranty, from what seems to be a pretty standup company.

Looks like I will be a Guinea Pig. I am gonna put in an order for one tomorrow. Will see how it goes. I will follow up with actual pictures of it and maybe a range session.

+1

Buy the New Frontier from JoeBob's for $ 109 shipped. I got mine in a couple weeks ago; runs great with both me CMMG 22 or any on my 5.56 uppers. They have 100+ reviews on the JoeBob's product page.

Any news on the quality? Local shop has the stripped lowers for $39, if reliable I might pick one up.
Thanks

One of my local shops has them, and a friend of mine bought one a few weeks ago but I don't think he has had the time to get out and shoot it yet. They look ok, but it's hard to ascertain the quality just by looking at them.

I have thought about picking one up to use with my dedicated 22lr.

Hopefully they are stronger than the NFA ones cause my brother in law has broken 2 of those shooting his AR. That's reason enough for me to steer clear of all polymer lowers. He is shooting a Dtech 223 wssm for his cal.

Can you give us details of how he broke them?

I picked up an ATI Omni complete lower from my LGS about 2 months ago for $139. was a very tight fit on 3 separate uppers, to the point I could not insert the take down pin without difficulty. When it did go in, the BCG would hang up in the buffer tube. There was enough pressure on the back of the lower to force the buffer tube to a downward angle. Problome seemed to be the buffer tube sticking forward to far. 5 minutes with a file took care of that. Still a tight fit but the buffer tube is straight and the BCG does not hang up anymore. 550 rds so far with no problems.

Yes I can. He broke them by firing the gun. Both of them broke right on top behind the charging handle and then the stock can swivel around.
