Any ideas on what the best gun rack would be for mounting on a polaris sportsman? No tube rails so will need to be mounted flat on the rack unless someone has a better idea. I would like to be able to carry 2 guns(shotgun & rifle) either a double mount or front and rear racks. Have a pack on rear rack but still could mount something behind it.
Anyone use the air ride form fit by stearns/mad dog?

I also use the Mad Dog "Fin Grip Pro Single" on mine. But I have a front rack tube extension which makes mounting it a breeze. With the newer Polaris front box system, it is almost impossible to mount anything to the lid and then be able to keep things in the box dry.
 
Take a look at the one in the back of my 4-wheeler. It works really great and is very solid, with good rifle protection. It holds two rifles. I bought it on E-Bay. Tom.

Rad here are some pics of my Box type lid and how I mounted them. These are just singles but the Mad Dog comes in doubles also and mount the same way.

Has anyone here tried a double gun rack mounted similar to the way that trapshooter12 has his mounted?
Thinking maybe I should stick with a single mount the double may take up the entire rack I could always bungy on a second gun in a gun case.

I've got a double rack that mounts on the handlebars it can be adjusted up or down and can also point the guns forward or sideways or anywhere in between. I can't remember the name but I'll take a pic and post it for you. It is very versatile and allows you to change positions without having to buy another rack.
