Custom Call Maker
I know several of you have been waiting for this ever since the first one got snagged (dirt cheap) off my website, so here it comes! Don't miss out!
It may be the last for awhile. It's a base. You only get one of those per antler, two of them per abandoned trophy, and only if you have very very large antlers. This is my last one.
(I'm on the hunt for more, but this is it for now, guys.)
For the rest of you, just enjoy the pictures!!!
Up for auction to ANYONE who is willing to honor their bid!
Fully turned Moose Antler Howler. Turned out BEAUTIFUL. It has no flaw. Heavy, Solid as stone, Handles like Ivory. No porosity or softness anywhere in thie piece. Bell is turned, hollow ground, and finished out to a high gloss alllllllll the way in. I'm honestly not the type to be into shameless self-promoition, but guys, this is an Awesome call. Plain and simple.
The horn stands 4 1/4" high, 6 5/8" high overall. The bell is 2 1/4" wide. Polished to a high gloss, both inside and out. Tony Tebbe Howler toneboard.
Bid includes shipping and handling. Signed and dated upon request. I don't have the experience to know what this howler is truly worth, but I ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT part with this call for less than $75, so I'll start the bidding at $74.
Auction will end at 7PM Pacific Time this SUNDAY, November 12th.
Here we go! . . . . . . $74!!
I broke one of the tool rests on my Lathe turning this antler to round. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif Violent and terrifying at the time, but kinda funny now! TicktickticksmacksmacksmackBANGBANGBANG-POW! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif All in about a second! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif Tool against the toolrest trying to round the button off. Didn't think it could do that, but I was out on the end of the tool rest and it all of a sudden got the scraper to bouncing... KerPOW! The toolrest snapped off the peg and bounced around the floor! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
