I can't imagine how madning that must be having a prize cat taken away! And what a stupid law! I hate these liberal laws starting all over the country!
 
Azcoyotehuner: My hat is off to you sir. I doubt that I would have called Az Game and Fish just because of some of the horror stories that I've heard about them. If you get the wrond game officer, they can be real CS. At least this is what I'ver heard. With you coming forward, it makes me optimistic about working with Game and Fish if I should ever do something wrong accidently.

Some of the calling clubs had representatives meet with G&F trying to change that rule. Particularly Phoenix Varmint Callers wanted the regs changed to permit the use of shotguns shooting Buck Shot legal for Moutain Lions. I know of an African PH that uses 00 Buckshot on injured leapords so it is certainly up to the task. However G&F wasn't having any of it.

For what it is worth, it wasn't entirely your post, probably less yours actually than someone else’s that prompted me to make the statement I did.
 
Give Jim a break. He knows more of the behind-the-scenes information on this particular event than 99% of you, including the moderators of this site.

Let this die already. The hunter in question wishes it would I'm sure.
 
Man, Scott, I don't know you, but you sure like to think you run the show.

I've seen you post graphic hunting pictures on non-hunting sites and take some heat for it. I've also seen you tangle with mods. at other sites and eventually get kicked off.

For a guy new to calling, you sure think you can call the shots.

I say we let the post run its course, not die becasue you say so!
 
Let not turn this into a finger pointing exercise. What happened was taken care of as it should have been in end. Let's leave it at that.
 
Switch - I've noticed the same thing, to paraphrase one of his real gems: I believe that if you don't kill at least a coyote a day, you don't have any business posting ...... Yes I know that is a rough version of what he said, but the meaning is there.... Since he wrote that right after I posted something on another board, I took and still take exception to almost everything he posts. The arrogance simply drips from the page.
 
I agree with Scott. I'm not taking any sides here. But a fellow sportsmen and friend to others made a mistake. I know that we have all made mistakes is one form or another. Maybe not just in hunting but in our normal lives if thats what you want to call it. I know that I have. I admire what Andy did, and I know that he feels bad about the hole situation, but lets not dwindle on this subject and just carry on with the World Of Predator Masters. I'm sure Andy knows how everyone feels by now. The good and the bad. He's probably been kicking himself for awhile now. And for Scott, well that's just Scott. He's a great guy. We may not always agree with each other, but that's what makes this country great. We have the ability to go back and forth with each other to an extent as along as we fall within the rules and regs for PM. And for me, Andy, I commend you in how you handled it. Just don't do it again. And I also agree we should just let this dead dog be. its been beat to death.

Sheese! Now we are pointing fingers at each other. It all boils down to a mistake being made. A recommendation was made to know the laws and regulations so you too won't make the same mistake. I'll lock this one down before we all get caught up in it. Thanks to all that responded.

Oh, if it matters, Hyperwrx was only trying to keep the peace. If y'all knew the whole story you'd see he wasn't being out of line. Please, lets just leave it at that.
