Back At It: Kirsch Chronicles

I took a break from coyote hunting over Christmas and New Years for some dedicated family time. It gave me a chance to take a break physically after my "First Blood" eye injury.

It was nice to get some fur down on the ground again.

Good for us, but bad for the coyotes.

Even the coyotes needed a breather.

... with your patient and kind response ... we have finally arrived at the focal point .... The hunting friends who reload their ammunition and who see your beautiful videos, write me that the 22-250 caliber is fantastic, very precise, fast , flat, powerful, versatile. It can be used for hunting predators, but it can also be used for hunting roe deer, and for small sized hogs. They have strong doubts only for shots in the presence of crosswind. I'm sorry, but they are manic and very demanding, they ask me for specific details that seem to be very important for them:

1) Why 52 gr Berger Match Target which has G1 BC = 0.235?

Wouldn't 55 gr Berger Match Target be better with G1 BC = 0.254?

2) With the 52 gr Berger Match Target, what is the V0 in ft/s?
3) What powder and how many grains?
4) What is the length of the barrel?
5) What is the twist rate?
6) Does the calibration of one inch above the center of the reticle at 100 yards correspond to 0 at 200 yards?
7) Can you show us an overall picture of your wonderful equipment? That is: rifle, tripod, Super Hogster, external battery, laser light, remote control of the acoustic recall, rangefinder, suppressor ... Thanks in advance.

Ernest,

I will respond to your questions in a Private Message. I don't like to share load data on a public forum just for safety reasons.

Ok! thanks, you are very kind. I personally do not reload, but I understand that they are very delicate data, which could be dangerously misrepresented or applied incorrectly, especially by those who do not know the subject like me.
