I've been a member here for 20+ years, only recently becoming a moderator on a couple low traffic forums. I've never been privy to the back room until recently. This forum has treated me well even when I wasn't a FP fan. Through this forum I've made friends and have hunted with folks from around the western US. I usually hunt from three to five states a year for predators. I've put a few newbies on there first coyote and welcome any PM.member passing through to have at least coffee with me or do a hunt in season.
This forum has never asked me for donations, put on conventions in interesting places at to me a quite reasonable price. They put on a great shooting competition in the Egg Shoot with some really great prizes.
I find it difficult to understand the animosity shown toward the folks that have put the effort to make this the best predator hunting forum on the internet. These aren't paid business men but predator hunters volunteering their time to do it. I personally applaud there efforts, I think we will see even more changes in the coming year. This complete turn around of personal and expansion of BOD is only a month or so old and already we're seeing some.old names returning, new sponsors and efforts to bring PM software up to date.
There isn't another predator hunting site that has done more to promote the sport than PM, and I'm looking forward to it having a long life and being a home for old predator hunters like me and a place for budding predator hunters to get answers to problems they are having or even just how to get into the sport. Instead of trying to tear the sight down, contributing your knowledge to the sight would be far more helpful.
Looking forward to seeing some of you at the next convention or just over coffee if your passing through my part.of the country.
