Bait for live trapping feral cats

Now I would have liked to watch that whole scene occur with you chasing the sack full of ticked off tomcat. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I used to have real good luck with the cheapest canned cat food I could find, I think it was called Cozy Kitten...man did it smell bad, but it really brought the kitty cats running.
I've heard chicken livers work well also. Good luck on your quest!

I mixed sardines and peanut butter and caught 23 feral cats over 3 weeks

Wash the trap and reset it in a new location. Some times cats get skittish w/ the smell of other predators being in the area and wont go to the trap. Also put some grass or leaves on the floor of the trap so the wire is covered.Make sure the grass/leaves dont interfere with the pan.

cheap smelly tuna always works. Your smell might deter. I have watched many cats really check out the trap before entering.
What works with bobcats? would a can of tuna work while mouth calling bobcats?
