He will make a mistake, Week and show up when you aren’t in the tub. It is very slow here, the slowest I have seen for several years. I am hoping it picks up after the first of the year. January through March is generally the most active time here, especially once the cold sets in and snow flies.

Way to go, Week. Very nice looking coyote.

One finally showed up at my site last night. Last sighting was November 1. It’s been very, very slow this year. I don’t think he got any treats thanks to a possum and red fox. I am at the shack tonight anyway, baited and settled in, hoping.

I hadn't seen any roadkill deer for over a week(wanted to start baits Dec 1). Today on the way to gas up my truck I ran into county guys picking up a deer. I stopped them and found out a couple of them had been put on deer duty. Told them I need the deer and pickup(permit either cty or state depending on road) when I see them. Gave them my ph # and said I would come to them. 5 minutes they call, had a fresh one. So first bait is out and hoping these guys will keep me supplied. May have to get them gift cards for Christmas if this works out.
I also added a wood stove fan to my Buddy Heater. Silent operation and should help keep windows clear on below zero nights.

If you lived in my part of PA, you could get all the roadkill you want. Very seldom picked up.

I need a road kill too. Have been looking but not finding any. This snow and cold is a good time to use one.

Video as promised, ok, so it's late, I'm old and out of practice. SLOW is the description of coyote activity at my place. A deer carcass got the best of this one. Haven't seen the mate since.

Black coyote video

A fine young man friend of mine wanted to shoot his first coyote and since I've had a few coming lately he came over to hunt. Took him all of 30 minutes to connect.

I left the club where the black one was. I haven't seen any blacks on land where I have permission now.
