Baiting

Oh I hate to hear about a miss. What's worse is admitting you are not alone. In the last three nights, I have missed 3, all 240 yd shots. Normally if I miss, my next shot is at a target to verify scope integrity. I got slack and didn't check it. This scope has a history of needing a re-zero way too often. The empty hulls are piling up but the coyote pile isn't growing. I just finished a re-zero. It was 6" low at 100. Not sure what that equates to at 240 other than no blood with runners lollololol. I guess I will see how bad the WARNING shots affected them.

Haha. Good points Week. Keep after them. Since I got a new rifle and scope this year I check zero every 2-3 weeks and can see if there are any variations in zero. So far so good but I'll keep doing that from here on out. Cheap insurance....

One scrawny and probably unhealthy coyote for sure

" This scope has a history of needing a re-zero way too often." What caliber and rifle? An electronic sight that loses zero is either a scope ring problem or failed electronics.
according to Bering each time I sent one back they said the 'lens' was loose--Multiple times with 2 diff scopes so when they replaced them, I sold them and moved on.

" 'lens' was loose--Multiple times with 2 diff scopes" wow. But that is pretty much the heaviest part next to batteries. That could change the focal point and zero but should be a big no no for company QC/design problem. Leap want to have replaceable lenses, wondering about stability.

DEFINATELY a chance Week. Hoping for your success

Congrats Notch. Nice pics. How far was your shot?

I feel sorry for those naked coyotes. That is one tragic looking guy.
Close shot. Windy enough to sneak into about 100.

Mange is pretty bad this year. Second one I’ve killed that looked like that. My 14yo spooked one today that looked even worse.
