If F&T sold it why would they need approval to take it back. I think there is more to this than is being told. You want to blame Fox Pro for it being bigger than you wanted, that is your fault for not doing research. The sounds being in the wrong folder is no big deal and can be fixed by you in just a few minutes. Next you complain and say Fox Pro wont take it back when you actually bought it from FNT. Sounds like you just want to bad mouth Fox Pro when the issue is with you not them.

Foxpro is the only ecall company I've used besides one WD. I've been pretty happy with them. The oldest calls I bought from FP were seven years ago, I had zero issues with them. I'm not bashing them. I'm very unsatisfied with the current lineup. It took a year of me browsing and asking guys that use these calls what would fit my requirements.

They need to offer a high quality preprogrammed compact call with up to 200 sounds and they'll get my business back.

I don't see them ever making anything smaller than the Inferno case?? The TOA call is bar none the best kind of call and definitely not very big. Their base model is small but basic.

I bought my first Foxpro in 2008, it was a FX5 it was $679.00 and it came with 50 sounds.

The Fusion with all of it's features, 100 sounds and the TX-1000 remote for $499.95 is a much better value than 8 years ago.

The features that come with the Banshee that has 100 sounds for $299.95 is a great deal.

When I first started calling coyotes with a cassette caller the tapes cost around $7.00 to $10.00. I though 3 tapes was plenty of sounds. LOL

To all who have participated in this posting, I am simply sending this message in an attempt to clear the air here. It is not my intent to be confrontational in any way with my post and will clearly state that we appreciate Leadbelly's interest in our line of game calls. The situation that this has become is losing focus to the original issue. Mr Leadbelly has purchased a caller from FNT. He stated the caller was too big for his pack and he had a programming issue. As for the size of the caller, there are so many choices that we offer from a small Deadbone caller to a Shockwave. Leadbelly made his choice in the Banshee. As he stated, he researched and asked questions for over a year to make his choice. We offer the Inferno with 200 sound capacity and it is quite portable. We also take pride in being able to offer a "MADE IN USA" caller for everyone's budget from $99 to $699
All FOXPRO game calls come with a preloaded sound list and aside from the batteries (which are not included) have always been ready to go right out of the box. The Banshee standard (preloaded) sound list can be viewed from this link.

https://www.gofoxpro.com/site/resources/downloads/foxpro-sound-lists/standard-list-banshee.pdf

Leadbelly elected to customize his sound list and FNT is authorized to do so. I understand the frustration about the calls being in the wrong category but this really is an easy fix. One that FNT would certainly have corrected. I believe they would have apologized to you for your inconvenience if given the proper chance to do so prior to your postings.
Additionally, we take great pride in building a quality product and offer a warranty on all of them. We have an exceptional Customer Service department to back it up. I would say that many people over the years of posting on this forum would attest to this.
As for the return aspect, I called FNT yesterday personally. Our return policy is 30 days with a receipt for a "defective" item. FNT chooses not to allow a return for electronic devices. They acknowledge that they are not as qualified as the factory to assess those issues over the counter. In an effort to better serve their customers, they direct them to the factory for warranty service. However we also ask that our dealers send warranty customers directly to us to eliminate their risk involved with over the counter exchanges. But this is not a warranty issue that dictates a refund. Simply a wrong choice made by Mr Leadbelly with a sound list issue that required additional attention. FOXPRO did not pressure FNT to issue a refund based on complaints. FNT has issued a refund in attempt to resolve this situation for you as a courtesy. As for picking the right caller for your next purchase if you were to still be a interested in a FOXPRO I am sure that FNT would still try to accommodate you. I do not wish to take a sale away from our dealer. Mr Leadbelly, if you choose to, you can reach me directly at 717-248-2507 ext 220. My name is John and I am the National Sales Manager at FOXPRO and would be happy to assist you in choosing the right caller for your next FOXPRO purchase. I would hope that as a return courtesy from you that FNT would be offered a second chance to provide this item for you. Let me know if I can be of assistance to you in any way.

For the record I did contact F&T by email before any post were made or before I contacted foxpro. I work late and I doubted F&T would answer a call at 3am. Those emails where not returned, but I later called them. F&T was very courteous and understanding and I will continue to do business with them.

John,
I appreciate the offer but I am not interested in any current foxpro products or any other brands of ecalls. I chose to buy the banshee thinking it was about the closest compromise to what I was looking for. It obviously was not. I would appreciate if foxpro would try to improve upon my complaints to design calls more suited to people that hunt solo on foot and want small light calls, or bring back old designs that already filled those needs.

I will be shipping the banshee back to F&T tomorrow afternoon

It seems clear at this point that some people will never be satisfied even if it is their own lack of reading specs that are clearly available on the website that leads to their issues. That's just the way it is. I think it is worth noting that even if FoxPro developed a model as small as a pack of cigarettes, it would still have to be programmable by the owner to satisfy the biggest percentage of customers. With the free software available from FoxPro, it is a simple procedure.

I have volunteered many times to help customers with programming, and all who took me up on the offer were satisfied. Still, nothing I can say or do will satisfy everybody.

Possum, I'm 100% satisfied! I'm getting my refund, I'm not stuck with this call, and hopefully someone will buy it and appreciate it later.

If foxpro did build a call the size of a pack of cigarettes and programmed it for me I'd by it, regardless of the fact their employees are aggrogant jerks that act like they're doing you a favor

Leadbelly, I didn't mention your name at all, and I won't assume your post above is aimed at me. I just made a general statement.

By the way, members of the FoxPro Field Staff are not employees.
